Resonance of tuning forks with table tennis ball

A table tennis ball attached to a cord is held to the side of a tuning fork that has a certain frequency. If another tuning fork that has been made to vibrate is held next to this tuning fork, the table tennis ball is only deflected if the tuning forks have the same frequency.
