Resonance with wine glass

Resonanz mit Weinglas
A wine glass is made to vibrate with a sine wave from a speaker. If the frequency of the tone is close to the resonant frequency of the glass and the sound is loud enough, the wine glass may shatter.

Caution: Experiment with possible hearing damage!
Personal protective equipment necessary!
