Lecture experiments

The experiments aim to support the physics lectures at D-PHYS of ETH Zurich.

The website is designed to:

• browse available experiments,
• reserve experiments for lectures,
• access images, videos, and additional information,
• and manage existing or planned reservations.

Reservations

Experiments can be reserved via the Cart. Already reserved experiments are displayed under My reservations. The reservation can be modified until the lecture.

After each reservation or change, a confirmation email is automatically sent.

To ensure the preparation goes as smoothly as possible, we recommend making reservations a few business days before the lecture.

Videos

The videos in Chapter 13 are visible only after logging in. They are intended solely to support the lecture and may not be copied or redistributed in any form.

Embedded YouTube videos are provided in enhanced privacy mode. Only when playing or opening a video data can be transmitted to YouTube or Google.

Help

Reserve experiments

1. Create a lecture once.
2. Select experiments and add them to the cart.
3. Select lecture and date.
4. Finalize reservation or schedule provisionally.

Reservierte Experimente erscheinen anschliessend unter Meine Reservationen.
Eingeplante Experimente verbleiben bis zur endgültigen Reservation im Warenkorb.

Change reservations

Experiments that have already been reserved can be extended to or removed via My reservations. Any changes will automatically trigger a new confirmation email.
Similarly, scheduled experiments can be adjusted in the Cart and then finally reserved.

Browsers and mobile devices

The website supports the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, and is also optimized for tablets and smartphones.
