Spectral line apparatus

Spektrallinien-Apparat
In gas-discharge tubes and metal halide lamps, a gas or a metal is stimulated to light up. The emitted light is divided in its spectral components by an Amici prism. The emission lines of the various gases or metals in the visible range are observed with a camera.
