Light in ellipsoid

An ellipsoid is covered inside with a semi-transparent reflective layer. A small light source which can emit light in all directions is in one focal point of the ellipsoid. If the light source is switched on, it can be seen from the outside that an image of the light source is created by the reflections on the reflecting surface in the second focal point of the ellipsoid.
