Achromatic prism

Experiment no.: 5.9.1001
Achromatisches Prisma
This experiment shows that prisms made of different glasses have different strengths in dispersing white light into its constituent colours. However, if the prisms are put together, the result is a kind of achromatic lens that merely refracts the light with very little dispersion.
