Physical pendulum – rodlike
Experiment no.: 5.1.602
A rod-shaped pendulum has a different period of oscillation than a wire pendulum, even with small deflections, because its mass is not only at the end of the pendulum. This can be used to demonstrate Steiner's theorem.
