Period of oscillation independent of the mass
Experiment no.: 5.1.14
This experiment shows that the period of oscillation of a simple pendulum is independent of the mass of the pendulum. This is because the equation of motion has the inertial mass on one side and the gravitational mass on the other side, so they can be cancelled out of the equation.
