Diffraction on lycopodium
Experiment no.: 5.10.9
Laser light is diffracted on lycopodium powder, forming diffraction rings. The diameter of a lycopodium spore or the wavelength of the laser light can be determined if one of these is already known and the diameter of a diffraction ring is measured.
