Measurement of the human reaction time

Human reaction time can be measured in a simple way with a ruler. A ruler is dropped and a test person has to catch it as quickly as possible. The reaction time can be calculated from the measured drop distance. If the measurement is repeated several times, a statistical distribution of the reaction times is obtained.
