Galton board (bean machine)

The Galton board or bean machine (a board with rows of pins and around 2,000 balls) can be used to mechanically generate a binomial distribution. In this way it can be demonstrated how a measurement value (the initial ball position) is affected by noise from the collisions of the balls with obstacles.
