Curie point of Fe and Ni
Experiment no.: 9.5.2
Two spiral samples of iron or nickel are held in the magnetic field of a permanent magnet. When heated with a Bunsen burner, it can be seen that the nickel transitions to the paramagnetic state at a much lower temperature than the iron.
