Surface tension rocket

A rocket-shaped plastic plate is placed on water. Due to the surface tension of the water this rocket floats. If a drop of soap is put between the wings of the rocket, the surface tension reduces abruptly at this point. This difference in tension causes the regions on the water with greater surface tension to pull the rocket towards themselves - the rocket shoots away from the soapy water surface.
