The vacuum cannon can be used to shoot through a can in a spectacular way!
A table tennis ball is placed in the tube of the vacuum cannon. The tube is then sealed on both ends and evacuated with a pump. When the vacuum in the cannon is broken, a lot of air is sucked in immediately. The inflowing air accelerates the table tennis ball so strongly that it can even shoot through a can in front of the tube!
Caution: Experiment with possible hearing damage!
Personal protective equipment necessary!
